Sergio Benvenuto

Sergio Benvenuto se partage entre trois professions: psychanalyste, philosophe et essayste. Il a été chercheur au CNR italien (Institut de Sciences et Technologies Cognitives) à Rome, où il n'a pas réussi à ammener una approche philosophique et/ou psychanalytique. Il est président de l'Instyitut Elvio Fachinelli (autrement dit, Institut des Hautes Etudes en Psychanalysei), il a fondé en 1995 l'European Journal of Psychoanalysis, dont il est encore le directeur. Il enseigne psychanalyse à l'institut International de Psychologie des Profondeurs à Kiev. IL est co-rédacteur des revues American Imago et Psychoanalytic Dialogues (Boston). Il a collaboré et il collabore à des diverses revues culturelles en différents pays, telles que Telos (New York), Lettre Internationale (éditions allemande, française, espagnole, hongroise, roumaine, italienne), Texte (Vienne), RISS (Berlin), Journal for Lacanian Studies (Londres), L'évolution psychiatrique (Paris), Division/Review (New York), Cliniques Mèditérranéennes (Marseille). Il a traduit en italien pur la maison d'édition Einaudi le Séminaire XX: Encore de Jacques Lacan.
